Finance Head - Business Finance & Financial Planning/Analysis - Consumer Tech/D2C

Role Overview:

We are looking for a CA with 7-10 years of experience to lead the Finance function. While this is a Head of Finance role, the mandate is heavily focused on Business Finance, FP&A, and commercial finance, with end-to-end ownership of finance including controllership, accounting, compliance, treasury, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive Business Finance, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.

- Partner with founders and business leaders on growth strategy, pricing, margins, unit economics, and profitability.

- Own MIS, business performance reviews, KPI dashboards, and financial modelling.

- Lead commercial finance decisions across sales, marketing, supply chain, operations, and new initiatives.

- Own cash flow, working capital, treasury, and fundraising support.

- Oversee controllership, accounting, statutory reporting, audits, taxation, and compliance.

- Build scalable finance processes, internal controls, SOPs, and automation.

- Lead and mentor the finance team while establishing a high-performance finance function.

Ideal Candidate:

- CA with 7-10 years of post-qualification experience.

- Strong Business Finance / FP&A experience with proven business partnering capabilities.

- Exposure to Consumer Tech, D2C, E-commerce, Marketplace, Q-commerce, Retail, or FMCG startups.

- Experience working closely with founders or CXO leadership.

- Hands-on exposure to controllership and finance operations, with the ability to lead the complete finance function.

- Strong commercial mindset with excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.
