Purpose:

- To lead the Finance & Accounts function, ensure financial discipline and statutory compliance, and support Management in financial planning, business decisions and profitability improvement. The position will also play an important role in preparing the company for its proposed IPO.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead the Finance & Accounts function, including accounting, taxation, audits, banking and statutory compliance.

- Manage financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, treasury and working capital requirements.

- Ensure timely closure of accounts and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and MIS.

- Monitor costs, product margins and profitability, and recommend areas for improvement.

- Strengthen internal financial controls, financial reporting systems and corporate governance practices.

- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to Management for business decisions, investments and expansion plans.

- Lead finance-related IPO preparations, including due diligence, financial documentation, investor reporting and applicable regulatory requirements.

- Coordinate with merchant bankers, auditors, legal advisers, banks, financial institutions and other external stakeholders.

- Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate measures.

- Lead and develop the Finance & Accounts team.

Ideal Candidate:

- Must have held a senior Finance & Accounts position in a manufacturing company, with experience in managing the overall finance function.

- Should have strong knowledge of accounting, Ind AS, taxation, audits, budgeting, treasury, financial controls and statutory compliance.

- Must have a good understanding of manufacturing costs, business operations, working capital management and profitability.

- Experience in IPO preparation, investor reporting, due diligence, SEBI-related requirements or listed-company compliance will be preferred.

- Should have experience in dealing with senior Management, auditors, banks and other external stakeholders.

- Must be capable of independently leading the Finance & Accounts team and have working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Tally or similar applications.

- Should have good analytical, communication and team management skills.

- Candidates currently working as CFO, Finance Controller, Head of Finance or GM - Finance may be considered, provided they have the required experience to independently lead the function.
