Finance Controller (AGM / DGM) Delhi (Head Office)

About the Opportunity:

A leading listed automotive components manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Finance Controller to lead financial governance, statutory compliance, business finance, and strategic financial planning across multiple business entities and joint ventures. The role requires a finance leader with strong expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, manufacturing finance, budgeting, taxation, and stakeholder management. The incumbent will work closely with the CFO, business leaders, and JV partners to support business growth while ensuring robust financial controls and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead timely preparation of consolidated financial statements, MIS, and Board reports in compliance with Ind-AS and statutory requirements.

- Oversee financial operations and ensure timely closure of books, reconciliations, and management reporting.

- Manage financial consolidation across multiple entities, joint ventures, and manufacturing plants while standardizing reporting processes.

- Drive annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, financial planning, and variance analysis.

- Monitor manufacturing costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with corporate taxation, statutory regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements.

- Coordinate effectively with internal and external auditors, including Big 4 audit firms.

- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team while driving continuous process improvements.

- Partner with the CFO, business heads, and cross-functional teams to support strategic business decisions.

Candidate Profile:

- Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of post-qualification experience.

- Experience in finance leadership roles within the automotive or auto-component industry.

- Proven experience handling businesses with revenues exceeding 1,500 crore.

- Strong exposure to multi-entity financial consolidation.

- Hands-on knowledge of Ind-AS, corporate taxation, and financial controls.

- Experience working in a listed company is mandatory.

- Prior experience coordinating with Big 4 audit firms is essential.

- Working knowledge of SAP ERP is preferred.

- Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and strict reporting timelines.
