Role Overview:

As the Finance Controller, you will be the financial steward of our Gujarat operations, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial activities. You will work closely with the leadership team, providing strategic financial insights and guidance to support business growth and profitability. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and implementing robust financial controls, optimizing resource allocation, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes. This role directly impacts the company's financial health and strategic decision-making, contributing to sustainable growth and enhanced shareholder value.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of Financial Reporting, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Lead the Budgeting and Forecasting processes, collaborating with various departments to develop realistic and achievable financial plans that align with the company's strategic objectives.

- Manage Cost Accounting activities, analyzing cost structures, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing effective cost control measures to improve profitability.

- Establish and maintain a strong Internal Control environment, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, safeguarding company assets, and mitigating financial risks.

- Coordinate and manage Audit activities, working with external auditors to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and providing necessary information and support.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable Taxation laws and regulations, including direct and indirect taxes, and manage tax planning strategies to optimize tax efficiency.

- Drive Financial Planning initiatives, conducting financial analysis, developing financial models, and providing recommendations to support strategic decision-making and investment opportunities.

- Implement and maintain effective Financial Control systems, monitoring financial performance, identifying variances, and taking corrective actions to ensure financial stability and profitability.

- Manage the ERP system, ensuring its effective utilization for financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis, and identifying opportunities for system optimization and improvement.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, and cost control, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

- Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies, analyze financial data, and provide insightful recommendations to support business decision-making.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.

- Experience in managing and optimizing ERP systems for financial management.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution.

- Adaptable to an on-site work environment in Gujarat.
