A renowned Organization having overseas collaborations engaged in manufacturing of various sampling equipment used for TIC Industries is looking for immediate joiner to learn and grow with the Expansion of the organisation.

Role:

Responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility to ensure production targets, quality standards, cost controls and safety/compliance requirements are met. He will lead production, maintenance, quality, logistics and workforce efforts to maximize efficiency, minimize waste, and support business objectives.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily factory/plant operations: production scheduling, workflow management, resource allocation (people, material, machines).

2. Ensure products meet required quality standards, specifications and compliance with regulatory/industry norms.

3. Maintain a safe working environment: enforce safety protocols, manage health & environmental compliance, lead improvement of safety culture.

4. Monitor equipment, machinery and facility: ensure proper maintenance, minimise downtime, improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and reliability.

5. Manage budgets and cost-control measures: reduce waste, energy cost, improve yields, optimise production cost.

6. Lead continuous improvement initiatives: apply lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or other process improvement methods to drive productivity and efficiency gains.

7. Manage workforce: recruit/train/supervise production supervisors, operators, maintenance staff; set KPIs; conduct performance reviews; foster team development and engagement.

8. Coordinate with other departments: procurement (raw materials/spares), logistics/dispatch, quality control, engineering, supply chain to ensure smooth end-to-end production and delivery.

9. Prepare and present reports: production volumes, cost metrics, safety & quality dashboards, and performance metrics to senior management.

10. Strategic factory planning: contribute to medium/long-term plans for capacity expansion, new product introduction, R&D, factory upgrades, automation projects.

11. Manage factory expenses and maintain a monthly factory running budget.

12. Manage external & internal issues for smooth operation of the Factory.
