EZSpace - Tech Lead - Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and execute the engineering roadmap aligned with company goals and product strategy.

- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing, cross-functional engineering team (backend, frontend, MLOps, DevOps, QA).

- Collaborate closely with product, data science, and design teams to deliver AI-powered products at scale.

- Ensure best practices in architecture, code quality, security, and performance.

- Own the full lifecycle of engineering initiatives from concept to deployment and iteration.

- Make key build vs. buy decisions and guide technology stack evolution.

- Champion a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure engineering effectiveness and product reliability.

Requirements:

- 10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles.

- Proven experience building and scaling high-performing engineering teams.

- Deep technical expertise in AI/ML systems, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and modern software development practices.

- Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or similar; familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.

- Strong knowledge of system architecture, distributed systems, and data infrastructure.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.

- Experience in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Background in AI research or data science.

- Experience working with LLMs, NLP, or computer vision applications.

- Previous experience in a B2B SaaS or AI product company.

- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
