Job Description :
EYs Government & Public Sector (GPS) Advisory practice is seeking a Legal, Policy & Planning Expert to provide advisory support on urban governance, municipal reforms, and infrastructure projects. The role requires strong knowledge of civil, commercial, and environmental law with the ability to draft, review, and guide policy and compliance frameworks for government programs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide legal advice on urban infrastructure, governance, and sanitation projects.
- Draft and review contracts, affidavits, policy notes, and regulatory submissions.
- Support government in compliance with civil, environmental, and commercial law requirements.
- Liaise with courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities on urban development cases.
- Consulting Add-on: Develop policy briefs, legal frameworks, and compliance checklists in line with best practices for municipal reforms.
Requirements :
- LLB/LLM from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5 years of legal experience, including at least 3 years in civil/environmental/commercial law.
- Preferred: Big 4/top-tier consulting or legal advisory exposure in public sector/urban infrastructure projects.
- Strong expertise in drafting, policy interpretation, and government advisory.
- Excellent client-facing, negotiation, and compliance management skills.
