Key responsibilities:

- Produce accurate and timely monthly MIS and management reports.

- Prepare consolidated India financials working with business partners and other teams for annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercise.

- Identify and explain variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.

- Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.

- Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.

- Dive deep into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights, identifying underlying trends and challenging the business on performance / cause of any unexpected variances.

- Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions.

- Work on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization.

- Ensure integrity of financial data reported to other areas of business / external stakeholders.

- Improve reporting process through automation and standardization leveraging industry best practices.

- Support the strategic initiatives of the company, including acquisitions and investment appraisal, by providing financial planning and modelling skills.

Requirements:

- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) with 12 to 18 years of experience in FP&A function with IT / ITES MNCs.

- 10 - 12 years of experience out of which 6 - 8 years in FP&A role independently managing similar function. Should have hands-on experience in FP&A, managing high complexity in the process.

- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills, understanding of financial/transactional data and root cause analysis, with ability to manage stakeholders and work under pressure adhering to deliverable timelines.

- Should have grown in the role, excelling the function handled and risen through ranks.

- Should have good communication / rational thinking / articulation skills and solid team management skills.

- Strong finance and domain knowledge with eye for detail.

- Exposure to any ERP (MS Dynamics 365 / Oracle / SAP). Experience in Hyperion Reporting (HFM) is preferred.

- Very high expertise in MS Excel including pivot tables, PowerPoint and related tools.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations to diverse audiences.

- Self-starter / Team player, ability to prioritize and work collaboratively across functions/regions, influence others, multi-task, and work with stretch goals and deadline.

- Collaborate with cross functional teams & work in matrix reporting structure.
