Executive Director - Cyber Security Lead

Our client, a leading global financial institution, is building a strategic cybersecurity capability within its India technology hub in Pune.

We are seeking a senior Cyber Security leader to drive the execution of the global cybersecurity roadmap while building and scaling the India cyber organization. This role will partner closely with global leadership to strengthen enterprise security posture and protect critical technology and data assets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead cybersecurity strategy execution and operations from the India center

- Build and scale a high-performing cybersecurity team

- Oversee threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and risk governance

- Implement security frameworks, policies, and controls aligned with global standards

- Partner with global cybersecurity leadership to ensure strong security posture and regulatory compliance

Profile:

- 18+ years in Cyber Security / Information Security within large enterprise environments

- Experience leading enterprise-scale security programs and global teams

- Strong expertise across SOC, cloud security, IAM, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management

- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS

- CISSP / CISM / CRISC / CISA certifications preferred
