Product Strategy Development and Execution. Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy aligned with business goals and market opportunities. Conduct in-depth competitive analysis, market research, and customer insights to identify trends and drive innovation. Create actionable plans for product innovation and ensure alignment with customer needs and organizational objectives.
Product Value Analysis and Optimization. Conduct regular product value analysis using advanced lean manufacturing tools such as Value Stream Mapping & Kaizen. Identify opportunities to enhance product value by reducing costs, optimizing processes, and eliminating waste without compromising quality. Collaborate with SRT and manufacturing teams to implement improvements that align with lean principles and customer expectations.
Technical Expertise in Product Features. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the products technical features, including material specifications, functional attributes, and major technologies used in its design and production. Work closely with engineering and R&D teams to ensure technical feasibility and innovation in product design. Provide technical insights to marketing and sales teams to effectively communicate product advantages to customers and stakeholders.
Product Lifecycle Management. Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from conception and development to launch, continuous improvement, and eventual retirement. Develop and own the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements aligned with customer and market demands. Monitor product performance and lead initiatives for improvements or repositioning to maximize market impact.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Launch Management. Work closely with R&D, sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product launches and effective market positioning. Align cross-functional teams on product goals and deliverables, fostering collaboration to achieve business targets. Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, incorporating pricing, promotions, and distribution plans for maximum impact.
Profit and Loss (P&L) Management. Manage the products financial performance, including setting pricing strategies, managing costs, and identifying opportunities for revenue growth. Analyze P&L statements to make informed decisions on pricing adjustments, promotional activities, and cost reductions. Drive profitability through efficient resource allocation and strategic planning.
Candidate Profile. Minimum Qualification :BE Preferred not essential,Any Graduate with MBA workingin BD / Sales function for minimum 7 to 8 years. Excellent Leadership and organizational skills. Basic Technical knowledge of Product, Value Proposition selling Skills. Basic Knowledge of Value Engineering and Value Analysis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 8 10 Years of experience.
