Engineering Lead - Manufacturing

This opportunity is with a Manufacturing company. The Engineering Lead is responsible for leading a team of engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable engineering solutions. This role combines hands-on technical expertise, people leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

1. Technical Leadership

- Lead design, development, review, and implementation of engineering solutions.

- Serve as a technical expert and decision-maker for architecture, tools, and best practices.

- Ensure adherence to engineering standards, safety, quality, and compliance requirements.

- Review designs, calculations, code, or drawings and approve technical deliverables.

2. Team Leadership & Mentoring

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and/or technicians.

- Allocate work, set priorities, and track progress against milestones.

- Conduct technical reviews, performance feedback, and skill development plans.

- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

3. Project & Delivery Management

- Work closely with project managers, operations, and stakeholders to define scope and timelines.

- Identify technical risks and implement mitigation plans.

- Ensure delivery of projects with cost, quality, and performance targets met on time.

- Support estimation, planning, and resource forecasting activities.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality, IT, procurement, or product management.

- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

- Support customer, audit, or regulatory interactions as required.

5. Process & Continuous Improvement

- Drive process improvements, standardization, and best practices.

- Promote the use of modern tools, automation, and data-driven decision-making.

- Support innovation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis initiatives.
