Energy Efficiency Manager

Role Purpose:

The Energy Manager will be responsible for optimizing power, fuel, water, and air costs at manufacturing locations and reducing the target YoY by 5%. The role includes identifying energy conservation measures from data analysis, driving consumption reduction measures, and maximizing green energy usage.

Key Responsibilities & Competencies:

- Extensive experience in engineering and energy management

- Understanding of main electrical system principles (LV, MV and HV).

- Expertise into Energy Conservation methods, IOT and data analysis to Identify the energy saving opportunities

- Strong knowledge of biomass/coal fired boilers, oil/gas fired boilers, air- compressors, chilling units, steam/water/air distribution and monitoring system

- Optimising electricity/solar power/fuel & water at the manufacturing site

- Analyse energy flows of industrial sites and identify possible optimization.

- Conduct thermal energy audits to identify areas of inefficiency and make recommendations for improvement.

- Perform project feasibility and viability studies.

- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure energy projects meet their needs and requirements.

- Research and evaluate emerging energy technologies and provide recommendations for their adoption.

- Monitor and report on energy usage and potential cost savings based on industry analysis and modelling.

- Will be required to travel to various Plant locations

Education & Experience:

- Minimum Qualification -B.Tech./B.E. in Mechanical/Electrical

- BEE Certification is compulsory

- M. Tech. (Energy Systems Discipline)- Desirable

- Compulsory experience of working in manufacturing sector

- Knowledge/undergone training in BI tools like Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI etc.

- Relevant experience of 6 to 10 years as Energy Manager with proven track record of identifying and implementing energy saving initiatives
