Zonal Head - HORECA Segment Description: The Zonal Head HoReCa (Premium Water) is a senior leadership role responsible for driving overall HoReCa business performance across the assigned zone. The role entails full ownership of revenue, distribution expansion, key account relationships, and execution excellence within the region. The Zonal Head will lead and manage a multi-layered team comprising BDMs, BDEs, and BDOs, ensuring alignment with national HoReCa strategy while adapting execution to regional market dynamics. Key Responsibilities: Zonal Business Ownership - Own complete zonal P&L for the premium HoReCa portfolio, with focus on value growth, margin optimization, and brand equity. - Develop and execute zonal HoReCa business plans in line with national objectives and brand strategy. Premium Key Account & Institutional Management - Lead relationships with luxury hotel chains, premium restaurant groups, fine-dining formats, lounges, and high-end institutional accounts. - Drive premium product listings, menu placements, and exclusive partnerships. - Act as senior escalation point for strategic negotiations, premium pricing discussions, and long-term contracts. Team Leadership & Capability Building - Lead, mentor, and review the performance of BDMs, BDEs, and BDOs across the zone. - Set clear targets, KPIs, and execution priorities for field teams. - Build a high-performance HoReCa sales organization through coaching, training, and structured reviews. Business Development & Selective Market Expansion - Drive acquisition of right-fit premium outlets, ensuring brand-image alignment. - Identify white spaces in luxury hospitality, emerging premium formats, and experiential dining trends. - Ensure controlled and selective distribution, avoiding brand dilution. Sales Performance & Analytics: - Monitor zone-wise sales performance, outlet productivity, SKU mix, and secondary sales. - Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to drive corrective and growth actions. - Ensure timely and accurate forecasting and reporting to the National Head HoReCa. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to ensure availability, pricing compliance, visibility execution, and service levels. - Drive implementation of national and zonal marketing programs, activations, and brand visibility initiatives. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred. Experience: 7 - 8 years of experience in Premium HoReCa / Institutional Sales within FMCG, beverages, hospitality, or allied industries. Minimum 3-5 years in a regional or zonal leadership role managing multi-city teams. Skills & Competencies - Strong leadership and people management capabilities. - Deep understanding of luxury HoReCa channel dynamics and institutional sales. - Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills. - Strategic thinking with strong execution focus. - High analytical ability with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM/Sales tools. Other Requirements - Extensive travel within the assigned zone - Ability to operate in a high-expectation, brand-sensitive, and performance-driven environment
