- The Business Development Representative will be responsible for inside sales and sales activities to drive business growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engagement with Key Stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government offices/corporate, ensuring adherence to procurement processes.
- Collaborate with distributors to expand market reach and ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and nurture relationships with corporate clients, identifying their business needs.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Research and identify potential leads in government, distributor, and corporate sectors.
- Utilize targeted outreach strategies, including cold calling, emailing, and in-person meetings, to initiate - connections.
- Develop customized proposals and presentations to meet client-specific requirements.
Qualification of Opportunities
- Conduct thorough discovery meetings to assess client needs, budgets, and timelines.
- Use frameworks like BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) to qualify prospects effectively.
- Align qualified opportunities with sales strategies to drive conversion.
- CRM Management
- Utilize ZOHO CRM to track and manage leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and outcomes.
- Generate reports and insights to help optimize the sales pipeline.
- Market Insights & Strategy
- Stay informed about trends in government procurement, distribution channels, and corporate purchasing behavior.
- Share market insights and feedback with internal teams to refine product offerings and strategies.
- Identify and act on opportunities for business growth within target sectors.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
- Proven experience engaging with government offices, distributors, and corporate clients.
- Experience in the IT industry is a plus
