- The selected candidate will be responsible for managing emergency cases across multiple specialties, ensuring rapid diagnosis, stabilization, and treatment while coordinating with consultants and critical care teams for the best patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute medical, surgical, trauma, and critical emergencies.

- Provide immediate stabilization and life-support interventions in emergency situations.

- Handle cases related to cardiac emergencies, stroke, trauma, poisoning, respiratory distress, seizures, shock, and acute infections.

- Perform emergency procedures such as airway management, intubation, suturing, central line placement, CPR, and basic trauma care as required.

- Triage patients based on severity and prioritize treatment accordingly.

- Coordinate with specialists including surgeons, physicians, cardiologists, neurologists, orthopedicians, and intensivists for referrals and advanced management.

- Monitor patients under observation and ensure timely transfer to ICU, OT, or inpatient wards when required.

- Interpret emergency diagnostic reports such as ECG, X-ray, CT scan, pathology results, and bedside investigations.

- Maintain accurate emergency case records, medico-legal documentation, and treatment notes.

- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control practices, and patient safety standards.

- Participate in disaster management, code blue response, and emergency preparedness drills.

- Guide junior doctors, nursing staff, and emergency technicians during critical situations.

Required Qualifications:

- MEM

- Valid medical registration with relevant medical council.

Desired Skills:

- Strong clinical acumen and quick decision-making ability.

- Expertise in emergency and trauma care management.

- Proficiency in BLS / ACLS / ATLS protocols preferred.

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in high-volume emergency settings.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
