Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Talent Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals, focusing on talent search, selection, retention, and comprehensive training.
- Maintain discipline and foster a positive, high-achieving team environment.
- Provide guidance and solutions for team members on various sales and market-related issues.
- Effectively manage vacant territories to ensure uninterrupted business flow.
Sales Strategy & Achievement:
- Plan and execute initiatives to drive significant growth in market share and expand the prescriber base for Gromaxx brands within the state.
- Ensure the consistent achievement of sales targets for core brands across the state.
- Drive the success of all new product launches by ensuring proper and impactful execution in every headquarters (HQ), adhering strictly to the Product Launch SOP.
- Develop and implement state-specific strategies to accelerate overall growth.
Market Analysis & Business Development:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of specialty-wise contribution across the state, monitoring trends and devising proactive action plans for specialty and therapeutic category building.
- Gain a deep understanding of the market landscape and identify new business opportunities.
- Develop new avenues for growth, including engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Key Business Leaders (KBLs) and fostering relationships with key hospitals.
- Cultivate relationships with "trendsetter" customers to leverage their influence in the market.
Operational Excellence & Compliance:
- Ensure maximum profitability for the organization by optimizing product mix, minimizing expiry and sales returns, and increasing returns from the most profitable brands.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels at CFA (Carrying & Forwarding Agent) based on market demand, ensuring timely indent forwarding to prevent stock shortages in the state and zone.
- Organize and execute academic activities for doctors, including CME (Continuing Medical Education) programs and conferences.
- Provide timely feedback to the marketing department on competitor activities and new product launches.
- Analyze and identify problem areas and key issues at the HQ and territory levels, providing effective solutions for improved results.
- Manage outstanding balances effectively by ensuring timely collection.
