
Key Responsibilities:
Operational:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize standard and non-standard legal documents such as Agreements, MoUs, Bank Guarantees, Indemnity Bonds, Undertakings, and Power of Attorney (POAs).
- Review and periodically update existing standard legal templates and documents.
- Manage litigation and dispute resolution in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all legal documents.
- Oversee the companys Trademark Portfolio in coordination with external Trademark Attorneys.
Financial:
- Handle collection and recovery-related litigations.
- Ensure recovery of outstanding debts to support the companys financial health.
- Negotiate directly and indirectly with parties to secure favorable terms in commercial contracts.
Customer / Stakeholder Management:
- Conduct internal trademark search reports.
- Vet important company correspondence and communications from a legal perspective.
- Coordinate and manage external lawyers/law firms, including drafting case briefs, sharing documentation, and following up on case progress.
- Attend legal meetings, hearings, and conferences as required.
- Organize and conduct online training for employees as mandated under applicable laws.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Law (LLB/LLM).
- Relevant post-qualification experience in corporate legal affairs, contracts, and litigation management.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, dispute resolution, IP (Trademark), and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in handling debt recovery and financial litigations.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and record-keeping.
