About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic legal professional who can support our growing business across commercial contracting, labour law compliance, and corporate governance. This role will be instrumental in managing legal risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening our company secretarial and governance processes.
You'll work closely with leadership, external counsel, and cross-functional teams to build strong legal foundations that enable responsible and scalable growth.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts across vendors, staffing, partnerships, and employment
- Ensure compliance with labour laws (Shops & Establishments, PF, ESIC, POSH, Minimum Wages, gig workforce regulations, etc.)
- Manage legal risks, disputes, notices, and litigation in coordination with external counsel
- Support corporate governance, board processes, statutory filings, ESOPs, and fundraising documentation
- Develop policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks aligned with business needs
- Maintain strong legal hygiene and readiness for investor due diligence
