Reports to: HRIS Workday Manager / Head of Global Rewards & HR Systems
Location (Updated): Preferable Location: Mumbai
Type: Individual Contributor (No direct reports)
Work Mode: Work from Office only (Special cases can be considered individually case to case basis) We have 2 offices but prefer to work from Sales Office in Vikhroli.
Key Responsibilities:
Workday System Administration:
- Business process configuration, security, reports, dashboards, mass data processing, integrations, upgrades, and performance/merit cycles.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with HR and other teams to identify pain points and improve Workday processes.
Customization & Development:
- Lead enhancements, testing, documentation, and optimization of Workday functionalities.
Data Management:
- Ensure data integrity through audits and migration activities.
User Support & Training:
- Act as SME for Workday, troubleshoot issues, and conduct training sessions.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Maintain and update reports and dashboards.
- Change Management
- Assess future releases, shape roadmap, and promote system changes effectively.

Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Workday modules: Core HCM, Absence, Time-off, Recruiting, Reporting, Talent &
- Performance, Advanced Compensation.
- Strong in business process configuration, security, calculated fields, and custom objects.
- Familiarity with Workday integrations (especially Payroll).
- Preferred: Workday Pro accreditation or certification.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: University degree in HR, IT, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 4-8 years in Workday.
- IT Skills: Proficient in HRIS, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Language: Excellent English communication skills (verbal & written).
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required.
Additional Requirements (Customized):
- Global Exposure: Should have worked in a global environment to understand demographic diversity.
- Communication: Must be confident and fluent in English.
- Work Ethic: Should be a self-motivator, not require micro-management, and independently handle responsibilities.
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience with Workday
- IT Skills: Strong IT skills and proficiency in HRIS, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office
- Language Skills: Verbal and written fluency in English
- Working arrangements: minimum 3 days a week in the office
- Traveling required: Occasional travel to other sites may be required
