The Opportunity:

Eggs are nature's perfect nutrition and can solve for India's nutrition problem. However, out of the 40 Crore eggs consumed daily in India, more than 97% are sold in loose and unpackaged format. Indian egg industry is largely unorganized at the backend as well as the frontend.

Founded in 2017, Eggoz is a series-C funded egg brand and Agritech start up. It is funded by Gaja Capital, Ivy Cap, NabVentures, Avaana Capital, Rebright Partners and Others.

Job Summary:

The role holder will serve as a strategic partner to the Founders and the Board. The role owns the entire finance function end-to-end - strategy, fundraising and investor relations, financial planning and analysis, controllership, treasury, taxation, audit and compliance - and is responsible strengthening a scalable Finance organisation that can support Eggoz's ambition of becoming the largest national branded egg company.

- Fundraising & Investor Relations

- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

- Controllership, Accounting & Reporting

- Treasury, Taxation, Audit & Compliance

Candidate Skills & Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant with 14 to 16 years of Finance experience, including senior finance leadership. Being a CA is a must. MBA in Finance would be an added advantage.

- Proven experience leading fundraising, investor relations and Board engagement, ideally in a high-growth startup.

- Exposure to deal structuring and unit-economics-driven strategic decision-making would be ideal.

- Preferred industry experience in FMCG / D2C / Agritech / Ecommerce / Startup environments.

- Deep expertise across FP&A, controllership, treasury, taxation, audit and statutory compliance.

- Strong command of Ind AS, financial controls, and finance systems/ERP, with advanced financial modelling skills.
