We are seeking an experienced and visionary Manager - Engineering Excellence to lead continuous improvement initiatives in our manufacturing operations. The role focuses on driving engineering best practices, enhancing equipment reliability, ensuring energy efficiency, and building team capability to deliver sustainable and future-ready manufacturing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
- Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives by implementing innovative solutions for energy conservation and renewable energy adoption.
- Optimize repair and maintenance (R&M) costs through effective budgeting, resource allocation, vendor management, and cost-saving measures.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and company policies related to engineering and safety.
- Champion Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) programs across the plant to improve productivity.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for breakdowns, downtime, and recurring technical issues; implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to support operational excellence.
- Develop engineering capability within the team by mentoring, coaching, and providing technical training.
- Monitor engineering KPIs and prepare reports for management review, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Stay updated on new technologies, best practices, and industry standards in FMCG engineering and apply them to enhance operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 8-10 years of proven experience in FMCG / Food / Consumer Goods industry with strong exposure to engineering excellence.
- In-depth knowledge of TPM, OEE, RCA, preventive and predictive maintenance, and energy management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive process improvements.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills to develop high-performing teams.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and engineering analytics tools.
