About the opportunity : As part of the Corporate Strategy and Transformation Office, you will help our stakeholders digitize and optimize operational processes across the value chain, delivering sustainable, agile, and digitally-driven Process Optimization solutions. You will also be helping transform processes, operations, and behaviors which will lead to improved efficiency, improved customer experience, and improved business outcomes. Purpose of the Role : - The role partners with the Lead - Operations Excellence in the program management of process simplification /improvement projects, conducts opportunity assessment and instills a Lean and continuous improvement culture. - The role supports Origination, Documentation, Digitization, and Process Automation Delivery by documenting build requirements and leading business readiness. Key Responsibilities: The role will partner with the Lead - Operations Excellence to carry out the KRAs assigned Program Management of Strategic Initiatives : - Co-own the PMO for all Strategic Initiatives in the area of operations - Constantly identify additional opportunities for process improvement, leaning on market research of new elements in operations from the market - Support the implementation of solutions and business readiness approach, activity, and materials. - Produce status reports and flag issues/concerns to Strategy Leads, for escalation as required Process Simplification : - Map current state process, identify improvement opportunities, and document future state processes - Drive root cause analysis and waste elimination - Produce future state recommendations, including the business case for process Simplification, Digitization, Automation, or Origination. - Plan and lead implementation of no / low-cost process improvements working and demonstrate subject matter expertise Lean and Continuous Improvement : - Support the Lead - Operations Excellence to plan and deploy Lean and continuous improvement deployments. - Support in training and coaching the leadership to adopt Lean and continuous improvement ways of working. - Support leadership to execute Lean and continuous improvement delivery and implementation of adoption controls. Skills Required : - A strong understanding and experience of Operational Excellence/Process Optimization tools, techniques, and approaches and their application, such as Lean, Six Sigma - Adept at Identifying, scoping, and assessing improvement opportunities - Ability to map and present complex processes in a logical, structured, and compelling manner - Can analyze data to solve the problem and find the root cause - Ability to challenge the status quo to create lean, simple and effective processes - Ability to manage stakeholders at various levels in the organization - Clear and logical thinking with an ability to deal with ambiguity - Must display fine attention to detail - successfully completes tasks requiring deep attention to a high volume of detailed information with the ability to build quality process into job functions - Efficiently manages time-based on the continual evaluation of priorities, meets deadlines with high-quality deliverables reflecting a complete understanding of expectations Background : - Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Supply chain/Operations - Strong command of data visualization tools such Tableau - Previous experience in Quality or Process Improvement, preferably in the logistics or the manufacturing industry
