JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Overview:

We are looking for a qualified finance professional to support the organisation across financial reporting, technical accounting, mergers & acquisitions, due diligence and compliance for the Group in India and overseas. The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge along with the ability to support strategic finance and M&A-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

- Prepare quarterly and annual standalone and consolidated financial statements.

- Ensure compliance with Ind AS, Income Tax requirements and the Companies Act.

- Coordinate and liaise with statutory and internal auditors.

- Prepare financial and strategic presentations for the Board and investors.

- Handle technical accounting matters including:

1. Income Taxes

2. Property, Plant & Equipment (PPE)

3. Business Combinations

4. Leases

5. Impairment

6. Financial Instruments

Mergers & Acquisitions:

- Evaluate potential acquisition opportunities from a financial perspective.

- Conduct financial due diligence and valuation analysis.

- Develop detailed financial models to support transaction evaluation.

- Support transaction-related documentation from the finance perspective.

- Prepare presentations and financial analysis for the Investment Committee.

- Support post-merger integration activities.

Qualification & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory.

- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience.

- Experience in Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, M&A, Due Diligence or Strategic Finance will be preferred.

- Big 4 experience combined with Corporate M&A exposure will be an added advantage.

- Strong understanding of Ind AS and statutory financial reporting requirements.
