Director - US Accounting & Finance

We are currently hiring for our client - US based accounting firm .

Position : Director - US Accounting & Finance

Location : Hyderabad

Shift Timings: (11 AM - 8 PM) / (2 PM - 11 PM) ( Hybrid role)

About The Role

- In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of staff and senior accountants, Accounting Managers and AP, AR and Treasury team members in India, responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting.

- The monthly close process will include various components including revenue recognition processes, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and other accounting practices in accordance with US GAAP.

- In addition to typical monthly close processes, you will oversee a Collections associate along with a AR/Treasury Associate who are strictly focused on supporting our firms in collecting aged receivables and providing daily cash receipts and transaction coding support, respectively.

Basic Qualifications:

- 8+ years working as a Controller, Director of Accounting, or a similar accounting leadership position

- Experience with US GAAP and accrual basis accounting

- Knowledge of business processes used by professional services firms

- 5+ years managing a team -bookkeepers, accountants, and/or AR/AP associates

- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with M&A activities / growing scope of work

- Experience building a team/culture and developing team members

- A strong desire to build a lasting, best-in-class accounting organization
