Description:
Opportunity Overview:
A high-growth, multi-entity business is accelerating its inorganic growth strategy to expand across manufacturing, supply chain, and adjacent capabilities.
With strong scale, category depth, and a clear ambition to build a market-leading platform, the company is actively pursuing acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic investments.
This role will anchor end-to-end Corporate Development, working directly with leadership to drive growth through M&A.
Role Summary:
This is a CEO-facing deal leadership role.
You will own the full lifecycle of Corporate Development - from deal sourcing to execution and integration - and act as a strategic partner in shaping long-term growth.
This is not a pure advisory role.
This is an execution-heavy mandate with direct ownership of outcomes.
Immediate Priorities (First 36 Months):
- Build and activate a strong pipeline of acquisition targets (manufacturing-led businesses)
- Lead live deal execution: evaluation, diligence, negotiations
- Drive strategic insights on market opportunities and white spaces
- Engage with bankers, founders, and advisors to accelerate deal flow
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end M&A lifecycle: sourcing, screening, evaluation, diligence, negotiation, and closure
- Identify and evaluate strategic adjacencies for expansion across categories and geographies
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on business models, unit economics, scalability, and risks
- Act as a key interface with investment bankers, PE/VC firms, consultants, and founders
- Advise CEO, CFO, and leadership team on acquisitions and strategic initiatives
- Support post-acquisition integration planning and execution
- Build and maintain a strong deal pipeline aligned with strategic priorities
Ideal Candidate:
- 8+ years in Corporate Development / Investment Banking / Transaction Advisory
- Strong track record of end-to-end M&A execution (not just advisory exposure)
- Experience in manufacturing or asset-heavy businesses preferred
- Strong business judgment with ability to evaluate opportunities beyond financial models
- High ownership mindset with ability to operate in ambiguity
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
What Will Not Work:
- Pure advisory profiles without deal ownership or execution experience
- Candidates without exposure to complex transactions or scale
- Low ownership, research-heavy profiles without closure experience
Why This Role:
- Direct access to CEO and leadership on high-impact decisions
- Opportunity to lead real M&A outcomes, not just advise
- Exposure to large-scale, multi-entity business with strong growth momentum
- Ability to shape long-term strategy through acquisitions and partnerships
