About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven finance leader to head the global Record to Report (R2R) function as part of a multi-year Finance Modernization and Transformation program. This role will build and lead a world-class R2R organization focused on operational excellence, automation, standardization, and strong governance across multiple global entities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end R2R tower including journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany, fixed assets, period close, consolidation, and reporting.

- Establish a high-performing R2R Center of Excellence and oversee service delivery teams across India and international locations.

- Drive large-scale transformation-AI-led automation, predictive reconciliations, digital workflows, process standardization, and analytics-driven decision-making.

- Ensure strong compliance with US GAAP, SOX, internal controls, and global audit requirements.

- Partner with Controllership, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Technology, and Transformation teams to build future-ready finance processes.

- Lead change management to embed new ways of working across global finance teams.

- Build, coach, and scale finance talent; foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate

- 15+ years of progressive experience in accounting, R2R operations, and controllership functions within Shared Services or GBS.

- Proven success in finance transformation, automation, and global process harmonization.

- Expertise in SAP, digital tools, RPA, AI, and workflow automation.

- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive large-scale change.

- Data-driven, innovative mindset with a passion for simplification and excellence.
