Job Title : Director of Operations or Manufacturing

Location : Hyderabad

Summary :

A leading Global MNC, is seeking an experienced Director of Operations or Manufacturing to lead the setup and operations of its new Greenfield Manufacturing Plant in Hyderabad. The role will be responsible for establishing world-class manufacturing operations, driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with quality and EHS standards, and leading Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement teams.

The ideal candidate will have proven Greenfield plant setup experience, a strong background in Pharmaceutical or Medical Devices manufacturing, expertise in Lean Manufacturing, and the ability to build and scale high-performing teams in a regulated manufacturing environment. Telugu language proficiency is mandatory.

Job Profile :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's preferred).

- 12+ years of manufacturing operations experience.

- Proven Greenfield plant setup experience (mandatory).

- Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Medical Devices industry (mandatory).

- Strong leadership experience managing large manufacturing teams.

- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, and regulated manufacturing environments.

- Experience in high-volume, 24x7 manufacturing operations.

- Telugu language proficiency is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead Greenfield plant setup and operational readiness.

- Drive manufacturing excellence across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity.

- Lead Production, Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, and Continuous Improvement functions.

- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence initiatives.

- Build and develop high-performing manufacturing teams.

- Ensure compliance with GMP, Quality Systems, and EHS standards.

- Drive KPIs including OEE, productivity, quality, and cost optimisation.
