
Role Overview:
The 'Director - HR (Plant Operations)' will be responsible for leading Investor Relations, Employee Relations, Workforce Planning, Government Liaisoning, and Statutory Compliance for a large manufacturing operation. The role will partner closely with plant leadership to ensure workforce productivity, employee engagement and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute employee relations strategies aligned with organizational and operational objectives.
- Build and sustain constructive relationships with employee representatives, worker committees, and workforce groups.
- Lead collective bargaining discussions, Long-Term Settlements (LTS), wage negotiations, and productivity-linked agreements.
- Manage complex employee relations environments and ensure effective resolution of workplace disputes.
- Handle grievance management, disciplinary actions, domestic inquiries, misconduct cases, and conflict resolution.
- Proactively assess and mitigate workforce-related risks, including strikes, lockouts, work stoppages, and employee disruptions.
