Role Overview:

- We are seeking a seasoned finance leader to head our Financial Accounting function. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing Controllers teams, driving compliance, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role is critical for maintaining robust financial governance and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

- Lead and mentor the Finance Controllers team.

- Drive performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the accounting function.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

- Oversee preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal controls.

- Manage audits (internal & external) and liaise with auditors.

Strategic Finance Support:

- Partner with the CFO on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Provide insights for business decisions through accurate financial analysis.

Process Excellence:

- Implement best practices in financial accounting, reconciliations, and closing processes.

- Drive automation and ERP optimization for efficiency.

Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

- Present financial reports and analysis to the Board and senior management.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

- CA / CPA / MBA Finance.

Experience:

- 18+ years in finance and accounting.

- Proven track record as CFO in a mid-sized company or one level below CFO in a large organization.

- Strong experience in managing Controllers team and leading financial accounting operations.

Technical Skills:

- Expertise in GAAP/IFRS, financial reporting, and compliance.

- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel.

Leadership Skills:

- Strategic thinker with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to lead large teams and drive transformation.
