Role Overview:

We are seeking a strategic, high-impact Director of Finance (FP&A and Governance) to lead financial planning and analysis, risk management, internal controls (SOX), controllership, and strategic business partnering.

Operating within a high-growth Global Capability Center (GCC) environment, this role will partner directly with India GCC Leadership, Corporate Finance, and cross-border executive stakeholders to drive P&L transparency, operational efficiency, and scalable financial governance.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):

1. Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

- Planning and Forecasting: Own and lead annual budgeting, multi-year strategic planning, rolling forecasts, and monthly business performance reviews for large-scale engineering/operations organizations (400+ FTE P&L coverage).

- P&L Transparency and Variance Analysis: Provide executive visibility into key financial drivers, revenue/cost variances, cash flow dynamics, and core KPIs. Deliver consistent financial narratives to global leadership.

- Financial Modeling and Automation: Develop robust business cases, cost optimization models, and capital allocation frameworks. Leverage Power BI, ERP systems, and AI-enabled financial tools to automate decision support.

2. Internal Controls, SOX and Risk Management:

- Control Governance: Design, implement, and mature robust internal control frameworks aligned with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and corporate policies.

- Audit and Risk Oversight: Lead enterprise and operational risk assessments across financial reporting, procurement, and payroll. Manage internal and external audit engagements, including deficiency remediation.

- Process Optimization: Continuous improvement of controllership and governance processes to ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation across multi-geo operations.

3. Executive Stakeholder Engagement and Team Leadership:

- Global Partnering: Partner effectively with executive stakeholders across multiple geographies (US and other global regions) to align financial strategy with global business goals.

- People Leadership: Build, mentor, and elevate a high-performing finance team, promoting a culture of analytical rigor, accountability, and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA - ICAI), MBA in Finance from a premier institution, or CFA designation. Additional certifications like CIA or Risk Management credentials are an asset.

- Experience: 12 to 20 years of progressive experience across FP&A, Risk Management, SOX Compliance, and Financial Controllership, with proven experience leading large teams in a GCC or Tech MNC environment.

- Global Exposure: Demonstrated track record of managing global stakeholders and P&L oversight for large headcount footprints (400+ employees).

- Technical and Analytics Stack: Deep proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Zoho), Power BI/tableau dashboards, advanced financial modeling in Excel, and automation/AI finance tools.

- Leadership Profile: Candidates currently operating at Director, AVP, or VP levels with strong executive presentation skills, strategic mindset, and a results-driven orientation.
