Director - Finance & Accounts - EdTech - CA

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director Finance & Accounts to lead and oversee the complete finance and accounting function of the organization. The role demands strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to drive financial planning, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage the end-to-end Finance & Accounts function, including accounting, taxation, audit, treasury, and financial reporting

- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

- Ensure statutory compliance, regulatory reporting, and adherence to accounting standards

- Manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure and compliance

- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management

- Provide strategic insights to senior leadership for business decision-making

- Strengthen internal controls and ensure risk management frameworks are in place

- Lead and mentor the finance team, driving performance and capability building

Required Candidate Profile :

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

- 10- 12 years of experience in Finance & Accounts leadership roles

- Prior experience in Higher Education or EdTech industry is highly preferred

- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, and compliance

- Proven experience in team leadership and stakeholder management

- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
