Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Finance to lead the financial operations of our rapidly growing IT company. This role will be pivotal in scaling financial processes, ensuring compliance, and providing insights that drive sustainable growth.

The Director of Finance will partner with leadership to align financial strategies with business objectives, while managing the complexities of a fast-paced technology environment. The Director of Finance will oversee accounting, financial planning, reporting, compliance, and risk management, while partnering with senior leadership to align financial strategies with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies that support business growth and operational efficiency.

- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to provide actionable insights for decision-making.

- Revenue & Cost Management: Oversee revenue recognition for software, SaaS, and IT services; manage cost structures to optimize profitability.

- Accounting & Reporting: Oversee accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable standards (GAAP/IFRS).

- Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Manage liquidity, working capital, and investment strategies to optimize financial health.

- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, tax obligations, and internal controls.

- Stakeholder Communication: Present financial performance, risks, and opportunities to the Board of Directors and senior leadership.

- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage finance teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

- Operational Excellence: Drive automation, process improvements, and adoption of financial technologies (ERP, BI tools).

- Partnerships: Collaborate with business units, supply chain, and operations to align financial outcomes with organizational goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Masters/MBA preferred).

- Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, CMA, or CFA strongly preferred.

- 12+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles within IT or technology services.

- Strong expertise in financial planning, corporate accounting, compliance, and risk management.

- Proven track record in scaling finance operations for fast-growing companies.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Experience with ERP systems and advanced financial reporting tools.

- Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and geographies.
