Our client is an American multinational financial services corporation specialized in payment cards headquartered in the US Function Description: The Director will lead a team of skilled compliance professionals, strategize the department's service offerings, and ensure existing products/services are delivered within the agreed quality standards and timeframes. Responsibilities: Will be responsible for: - Ensure timely hiring of approved department resource budgets, working across the full spectrum of hiring activities, to onboard resources with the required skill sets and within budget. Includes building a robust talent pipeline, working with market CEG, scaled to anticipated attrition rates. - Building robust operational processes to on-shore work from market based compliance teams into the department, backed up by appropriate inter-company contracts, operational SLAs, migration strategies and robust project management - Build strong governance and oversight controls over migrated work to ensure to the regulatory standards of the various markets / MCOs - Effectively communicate on an ongoing basis with MCO teams regarding the delivery of work against agreed standards. - Build appropriate training programs, procedures and process documentation for department resources to execute their work appropriately - Provide strong people leadership to department resources to execute all required talent management activities Minimum Qualifications: Academic Background: - Post Graduate degree from a recognized university (MBA/MA Economics/MBL/CA/CS/LLB/LLM) Or combination of relevant education and experience and/or related professional designations/certifications in this field Past Experience: - 15+ years' work experience of leading teams and servicing International stakeholders across multiple time zones - past experience in liaison or engagement/employment with RBI is MANDATORY - Foreign language skills would be an added advantage
