We are looking for a Digital Transformation Leader who can drive technology-led change in the MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) and Heavy Engineering/Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will bring a unique mix of business process understanding, engineering mindset, and digital expertise to transform operations, optimize processes, and enable large-scale adoption of digital solutions.
- This is a critical leadership role with visibility to the top management and potential to evolve into a CIO/Chief Digital Officer pathway.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Digital Business Partner bridging business and technology.
- Drive digital transformation programs across engineering, MRO operations, plant automation, and aftermarket services.
- Lead initiatives to optimize processes using ERP (Ramco or similar), PLM, CAD, and manufacturing automation systems.
- Shape and execute a 5-year digital strategy roadmap, aligning with business goals.
- Understand and enhance post-engineering lifecycle operations (materials, processes, aftermarket service, and large-scale shopfloor operations).
- Manage and optimize solutions for large user bases, including blue-collar employees.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure compliance, process integration, and publication of manuals for ground operations.
- Champion cultural change and digital adoption in a traditionally manual, paper-oriented industry.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 15-25 years of experience in MRO, Automotive, Aerospace, Heavy Engineering, or Manufacturing industries.
- Proven expertise in digital transformation, ERP/PLM automation, and plant/shopfloor operations.
- Strong background in engineering outsourcing, product engineering, or engineering services.
