Deputy Manager - Procurement - Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients & Raw Materials

Role Overview:

- We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional in Delhi as a Deputy Manager for API & RM Procurement.

- In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and raw materials, ensuring a seamless supply chain that supports our manufacturing excellence.

- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production to align procurement strategies with business requirements.

- By maintaining robust vendor relationships and optimizing cost structures, you will directly influence the companys bottom line and ensure the uninterrupted availability of critical materials, ultimately contributing to the timely delivery of life-saving medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive sourcing activities for API and excipients, focusing on new source identification, alternate vendor development (AVD), vendor qualification support, commercial evaluations, vendor onboarding, qualification batches, technical query closure, and ensuring supply continuity through alternate sourcing.

- Develop and execute robust sourcing strategies for APIs and Key Starting Materials to ensure uninterrupted production cycles and cost-effective procurement.

- Coordinate with CQA for VQ & Audit compliance.

Required Skillset:

- 6 to 12 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical procurement and supply chain management.
