Job Description: AI Lead Compliance Function

Position: Deputy Manager / Manager AI Lead, Compliance Function

Reporting To: Head Compliance & FCC

Location: Gurugram, HY

Role Purpose:

The role is responsible for driving AI-led transformation within the Compliance function by leveraging AI for automating processes, strengthening governance and reporting frameworks, enabling faster and more effective compliance reviews, and creating intelligent solutions for compliance-facing documentation, dashboards, presentations, trackers, and stakeholder outputs; upskilling and training the compliance function for adoption of AI as integral part of their working.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, design, and implement AI-enabled solutions to automate compliance processes, workflows, reviews, approvals, monitoring, and reporting.

- Develop tools and agents that enable faster compliance reviews, better issue identification, evidence tracking, root cause analysis, and closure monitoring.

- Strengthen the compliance reporting framework through AI enabled automated dashboards, MIS, executive summaries, Board / Committee updates, management reports, and regulatory trackers.

- Create AI-enabled outputs such as PowerPoint presentations, Excel trackers, compliance checklists, review templates, SOPs, regulatory summaries, action trackers, and stakeholder communications.

- Create implementation plan and governance framework through AI for driving regulatory changes.

- Build knowledge management solutions that allow users to retrieve approved compliance, policy, SOP, regulatory, and governance information through natural language queries.

- Use data analytics and AI to identify trends, gaps, exceptions, emerging risks, control weaknesses, and process improvement opportunities.

- Partner with automation team, IT and Risk team to convert compliance requirements into practical, secure, scalable, and user-friendly AI solutions.

- Ensure AI-enabled solutions follow appropriate standards for accuracy, confidentiality, data security, human oversight, responsible AI use, and regulatory sensitivity.

- Train the compliance team and upskill them to leverage AI in all their activities.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Minimum qualification: Graduate in any discipline and formal AI qualification/certification.

- Professional qualification in Law, Company Secretary, Chartered Accountancy, Insurance, Technology, Data Science, or related fields will be an added advantage.

- Strong working knowledge of Generative AI, AI agents, prompt engineering, workflow automation, low-code / no-code tools, data analytics, dashboards, and document automation.

- Ability to understand compliance processes and translate them into automated solutions, reports, trackers, and decision-support tools.

- Strong problem-solving ability, execution discipline, ownership mindset, collaboration skills, and curiosity to continuously identify better, faster, and more effective ways of working.

- Ability to work with cross functional teams.

- Experience in BFSI, insurance, compliance, governance, technology transformation, or process automation will be preferred.
