Role Summary :

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to lead the Banking & Corporate Finance function at a strategic level. The role will be responsible for managing banking relationships, debt syndication, credit rating processes, and corporate finance activities across the organization. The position requires strong exposure to lender management, financial structuring, and regulatory compliance in a large, project-driven business environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the banking and corporate finance function and work closely with the Group CFO on funding strategy and financial planning.

- Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and rating agencies.

- Drive debt syndication, working capital finance, term loans, project finance, and other structured funding requirements.

- Handle negotiations with lenders for pricing, covenants, disbursements, renewals, and amendments.

- Coordinate credit rating exercises and support all required documentation and presentations.

- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, financing norms, and internal financial controls.

- Support capex funding, expansion financing, and other strategic corporate finance initiatives.

- Work with cross-functional teams for business projections, fund utilization, and lender MIS.

- Review and monitor SAP-based financial reports and support finance process controls.

- Prepare management summaries, funding proposals, and lender communication notes.

Desired Profile :

- Experience of at least 10 years in banking, corporate finance, debt syndication, or related finance leadership roles.

- Strong understanding of debt syndication, banking regulations, and lender documentation.

- Proven experience in dealing with banks and rating agencies.

- Working knowledge of SAP is required.

- Experience in large industrial, mining, metals, steel, infrastructure, or project-based organizations will be preferred.

Qualification : CA/MBA Finance/Retired Banker.

Preferred Skills :

- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to manage funding requirements for expansion and project execution.

- Good understanding of financial statements, ratios, and credit appraisal requirements.

- Strong communication, presentation, and coordination skills.

- High ownership and ability to work independently with senior management.
