DGM/ GM Costing
Location: Gurgaon/Gurugram
Hiring DGM/GM Costing for a UK Based mnc into diverse business statements. Reporting to Group CFO and MD. Responsible for managing and optimizing our costing strategies for forging, stampling, die casting, sheet metal and other businesses and driving profitability. This pivotal role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and sales, to provide insightful cost analysis and recommendations. Your expertise will directly impact strategic decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust costing models to accurately reflect the cost of goods sold and operational expenses, enabling informed pricing decisions and profitability analysis.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working collaboratively with department heads to create realistic and achievable financial plans that align with the company's strategic objectives.
- Conduct thorough variance analysis, identifying key drivers of cost fluctuations and providing actionable insights to management for corrective measures.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage and mentor a team of cost accountants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Conduct regular audits of costing processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial forecasting and modeling support to assist in strategic planning and investment decisions.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in cost accounting principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proven ability to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial information to senior management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Qualified Cost Accountant (CMA) is mandatory.
- Automotive industry background preferred
- Adaptable to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and comfortable with on-site presence in Gurgaon/Gurugram.
