Deputy General Manager - Finance - Industrial Infrastructure Business

Role Overview:

Leading industrial and infrastructure-focused business is seeking a senior finance leader to drive financial performance, business planning, capital allocation and governance. The role will partner with business leadership on expansion opportunities, investments, new revenue streams and profitability improvement, while overseeing financial controls, compliance and strategic finance initiatives across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, MIS and business performance reviews.

- Drive financial governance across accounting, reporting, audit, taxation, treasury and working capital.

- Evaluate new projects, investments, acquisitions, partnerships and expansion opportunities through financial modelling and business cases.

- Partner with business leadership on growth strategy, profitability improvement and value creation.

- Drive finance transformation, process improvement, digitisation and automation initiatives.

- Identify opportunities to improve revenue, pricing, margins and returns across value-added services.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 12-18 years of relevant experience, including significant finance leadership experience.

- Chartered Accountant; MBA or Chartered Financial Analyst preferred.

- Experience in real estate, infrastructure, industrial parks or large-scale development businesses.

- Strong expertise in strategic finance, financial planning and analysis, investment evaluation and financial modelling.

- Exposure to project finance, capital allocation, business transformation and commercial decision-making.

- Strong executive presence with the ability to partner with senior business leadership and external stakeholders; Mumbai-based candidates willing to work onsite.
