Deputy General Manager - Finance/Financial Controllership & Governance - Logistics/Manufacturing Firm - CA

Job Description :

A leading integrated logistics and supply chain solutions organization seeking an experienced finance leader to drive financial controllership, statutory compliance, governance, financial reporting, and finance transformation. The role will lead financial close, audits, taxation, digital finance initiatives, and cross-functional stakeholder management while strengthening internal controls and building a high-performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead financial controllership, monthly and annual closures, and statutory financial reporting.

- Drive statutory audits, internal audits, tax compliance, and regulatory governance.

- Oversee financial reporting, management information systems, and business performance insights.

- Lead finance transformation, automation, and SAP-enabled process improvement initiatives.

- Strengthen internal controls, risk management, and governance frameworks.

- Develop and mentor the finance team while partnering with business leadership and external stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

- Chartered Accountant (Mandatory).

- 10-17 years of experience in Finance and Accounts within logistics, manufacturing, fast-moving consumer goods, or large corporate organizations.

- Strong expertise in financial controllership, taxation, audits, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

- Hands-on experience with SAP ERP and finance automation initiatives.

- Proven leadership experience managing finance teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

- Willing to work onsite from Mumbai.
