Deputy General Manager - Finance - CA

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join leadership team in Pithampur, Indore, as a DGM Finance. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire financial health of our manufacturing operations, serving as the primary bridge between operational efficiency and strategic financial planning. You will work closely with the plant leadership, corporate stakeholders, and external auditors to ensure fiscal discipline and regulatory compliance. By driving robust financial reporting and cost-optimization initiatives, you will directly influence the company's bottom line and play a critical role in shaping the long-term financial roadmap of our business units.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end Finance and Accounts function to ensure accurate financial statements and timely statutory compliance for the Pithampur facility.

- Direct the annual Budgeting and forecasting processes to provide management with actionable insights for resource allocation and growth planning.

- Oversee complex Taxation matters, including GST, direct tax, and transfer pricing, to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to evolving regulatory frameworks.

- Manage the implementation and optimization of SAP FICO modules to streamline financial workflows and enhance data integrity across the organization.

- Spearhead rigorous Costing analysis to identify operational inefficiencies and drive margin improvement across manufacturing processes.

- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership through detailed Account Planning and performance reviews to support informed decision-making.

Required Skill set:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale financial operations, with a deep understanding of financial reporting standards and internal controls.

- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders with clarity and impact.

- Strong technical proficiency in SAP FICO, coupled with an analytical mindset to leverage ERP systems for advanced financial modeling and forecasting.

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 14 to 21 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills to navigate stakeholder relationships and drive a culture of financial accountability across the plant.

- High level of adaptability and readiness to work on-site in Pithampur, ensuring hands-on oversight of financial operations and team mentorship.
