Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned leader for a senior delivery role within the Medical Coding function, responsible for managing end-to-end coding operations at scale. This role will drive operational excellence by ensuring high standards of accuracy, compliance, and productivity across coding programs. The incumbent will lead large teams, strengthen quality frameworks, and collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, billing, and client stakeholders. A key part of the mandate is to build a culture of continuous improvement, leverage technology for efficiency gains, and provide strategic insights through data-driven analysis to support business outcomes.

Skills & Experience

- 15-18 years of experience in Medical Coding, with deep exposure to IPDRG and multi-specialty coding environments

- 8-10 years of leadership experience managing large-scale coding operations and teams

- Certified coder (CPC / CCS / CCS-P or equivalent)

- Strong working knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS coding systems and global - compliance standards (including HIPAA)

- Proven track record in driving productivity, quality improvement, and reducing coding-related denials

- Experience in conducting audits, quality reviews, and implementing corrective action frameworks

- Ability to interpret large datasets and generate actionable insights for leadership decision-making

- Exposure to coding platforms, EHR systems, and workflow management tools

- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across clinical, billing, and client teams

- Demonstrated experience in process optimization, SOP creation, and training program development

- Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building capabilities

- High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance

- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple priorities
