Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements (including Consolidated Financials) in compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IND-AS, IFRS).
- Managing and liaising with Auditors (Internal/External) for audit closures, including schedule submissions and responding to audit queries.
- Handling and deriving Finance projects like accounting software improvements, automations, process control enhancement, etc.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, including board presentations.
- Analysing financial data for trends, variances, and performance improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Oversee account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Implement and maintain financial controls to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and standards, ensuring the organization's compliance.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; CA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, accounting, or auditing.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards (IND-AS, IFRS, or GAAP).
- Proficiency in ERP and financial systems (preferably SAP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
