Dalmia Cement - Head - Plant Finance

Purpose:

To lead the plant finance function by ensuring effective cost control, budgeting, financial reporting, working capital management, statutory compliance, and business partnering to improve plant profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive cost control and profitability improvement initiatives for clinker and cement manufacturing.

- Prepare and monitor Budget, AOP, forecasts, and variance analysis.

- Ensure timely monthly financial closing, MIS, and plant P&L reporting.

- Manage inventory, working capital, and fixed asset controls.

- Monitor CAPEX spending, capitalization, and project financial performance.

- Ensure compliance with GST, direct taxes, accounting standards, and internal controls.

- Support procurement, maintenance, production, and logistics teams through financial analysis and decision support.

- Coordinate internal, statutory, cost, and management audits.

- Lead and develop the plant finance team.

Qualification & Experience:

- CA /CMA

- 15+ years of manufacturing finance experience, preferably in the cement industry.

- Strong knowledge of costing, budgeting, SAP, financial reporting, and plant operations.
