Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic D2C Head - Own Website Sales to lead and scale the brands direct-to-consumer (D2C) business through its owned digital platforms. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, conversion optimization, retention, and overall P&L ownership for the brands website. The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen, hands-on execution ability, and leadership experience in scaling D2C businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue & P&L Ownership:

- Own complete P&L for the brands D2C website business.

- Drive topline growth while maintaining healthy contribution margins.

- Forecast revenue, manage budgets, and optimize ROI across marketing spends.

Website Sales & Growth Strategy:

- Define and execute the overall D2C growth strategy for own website sales.

- Scale traffic through performance marketing (Google, Meta, affiliates), SEO, and partnerships.

- Identify new growth levers including loyalty programs, subscriptions, and personalization.

- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) & User Experience

- Optimize the customer journey across homepage, PLP, PDP, checkout, and post-purchase flows.

- Improve key metrics such as conversion rate, AOV, repeat purchase rate, and CAC.

- Lead A/B testing initiatives and data-driven UX improvements.

Marketing, CRM & Retention:

- Drive customer acquisition and lifecycle marketing across email, SMS, WhatsApp, and push notifications.

- Build retention, loyalty, and reactivation programs to improve LTV.

- Work closely with brand and content teams to ensure consistent messaging.

Technology & Platform Management:

- Oversee website platform (Shopify/Magento or equivalent), integrations, and performance.

- Collaborate with tech and product teams to ensure site stability, speed, and scalability.

- Implement analytics tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.

- Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing D2C and e-commerce team.

- Work closely with performance marketing, supply chain, finance, and customer experience teams.

- Coordinate with logistics and operations to ensure seamless order fulfillment.

Data, Analytics & Reporting:

- Track and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics.

- Generate actionable insights from customer and sales data.

- Present business performance and growth plans to senior leadership.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

- 8+ years of experience in D2C, E-commerce, or Digital Sales.

- Proven track record of scaling own website sales for consumer brands.

- Strong understanding of performance marketing, CRO, CRM, and analytics.

- Hands-on experience with Shopify/Magento and digital marketing tools.

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.

Preferred Background:

- Experience in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, FMCG, or consumer internet brands.

- Experience managing high-growth D2C businesses or start-up environments.

- Exposure to omnichannel or marketplace + D2C models.
