Role Overview:

As an HR Business Partner based in Mumbai/Thane, you will serve as a strategic bridge between leadership and the workforce, ensuring that human capital initiatives align with the companys broader business objectives. You will work closely with department heads to drive organizational effectiveness, manage complex employee relations, and oversee the end-to-end employee lifecycle. Your impact will be measured by your ability to cultivate a high-performance culture, improve retention, and ensure that the organization remains agile in a competitive tech landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with business leaders to translate organizational goals into actionable HR strategies that drive team performance and business growth.

- Manage end-to-end employee relations by resolving workplace conflicts and ensuring a positive, inclusive environment for all staff.

- Oversee the performance management cycle, from goal setting to appraisals, to ensure alignment with company-wide KPIs.

- Lead talent management initiatives, including succession planning and high-potential development programs, to build a sustainable leadership pipeline.

- Execute HR operations and compliance protocols to ensure the organization adheres to all local labor laws and internal policies.

- Design and implement employee engagement programs that boost morale and foster a strong sense of belonging within the Mumbai/Thane offices.

- Utilize HR analytics to provide data-driven insights on attrition, headcount planning, and compensation benchmarking to senior management.

- Collaborate with the recruitment team to streamline talent acquisition strategies for critical technical and operational roles.

- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, engagement, performance management, and retention.

- Drive the Performance Management System (PMS), goal setting, appraisals, and talent reviews.

- Handle employee relations, grievance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.

- Plan and execute employee engagement, wellness, recognition, and culture-building initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with statutory labor laws, company policies, and HR governance.

- Coordinate payroll inputs and ensure statutory compliance in collaboration with the payroll team.

- Prepare HR dashboards, MIS reports, analytics, and workforce insights for leadership.

- Support manpower planning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.

- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve employee productivity and organizational effectiveness.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex HR generalist functions, including compensation and benefits administration and HR compliance, within a fast-paced environment.

- Proven expertise in change management, with the ability to guide teams through organizational transitions while maintaining productivity.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to influence stakeholders at all levels and navigate sensitive employee relations matters with discretion.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR metrics and translate them into strategic business recommendations.

- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in an HRBP or generalist capacity, preferably within the technology or professional services sector.

- A postgraduate degree in Human Resources or a related field from a reputable institute.

- Ability to work effectively in an on-site/hybrid environment, demonstrating high levels of professional excellence.

- Strong understanding of HR best practices and labor laws.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

Qualifications:

- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.

- 5-8 years of relevant HRBP experience.
