D-Mart - Senior Leadership Role - Legal - Non-Litigation

Vacant Position: Senior Leadership Role: Legal (Non-litigation) - Must have real estate experience

Job Location: Mumbai, Thane

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle all property-related legal documentation, due diligence, regulatory compliance, land acquisition support, contract negotiation, and risk management.

Title verification and property due diligence.

Drafting and vetting:

1. Development Agreements / Joint Development Agreements (JDA) / Joint Venture Agreements (JV)

2. Sale Deeds / Conveyance Deeds & License Agreements

3. Vendor and construction contracts.

- Handling land acquisition and redevelopment documentation.

- Ensuring compliance with RERA, land laws, stamp duty, registration, municipal approvals, and other statutory requirements.

- Identifying legal risks and advising management on mitigation strategies.

- Coordinating with government authorities, consultants, and external law firms.

- Supporting business teams in deal structuring and transaction closures.
