Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Centre Head (P&L) to lead the overall management, business performance, and operational excellence of our hospital unit. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong leadership, financial acumen, and people management skills to ensure profitability, efficiency, and long-term growth. The Centre Head will serve as the primary business leader for the unit, driving strategy, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Business Leadership & P&L Management
- Take complete ownership of the hospital units P&L, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans, annual budgets, and growth forecasts.
- Monitor performance against key metrics and implement corrective actions proactively.
Strategic Planning & Market Growth
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and service expansions to increase market share.
- Drive initiatives for empanelments, referral networks, and corporate collaborations.
- Strengthen brand visibility through community engagement and patient-centric programs.
Operational Excellence & Governance
- Oversee end-to-end operations, ensuring smooth functioning of clinical and non-clinical services.
- Implement efficiency-focused processes and adopt best practices for resource utilization.
- Drive digitization initiatives, dashboards, and MIS for data-driven decision-making.
Quality & Compliance Oversight
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory, statutory, and accreditation requirements (NABH, etc.).
- Monitor quality benchmarks, safety protocols, and risk management practices.
- Promote a culture of accountability, ethics, and compliance across teams.
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Build a culture of collaboration, performance excellence, and continuous learning.
- Drive employee engagement and talent retention initiatives.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Act as the key representative of the hospital unit for consultants, doctors, corporate partners, and regulators.
- Ensure effective coordination with the corporate office for alignment and governance.
- Foster strong external relationships to enhance the hospitals market position.
Qualifications & Experience
- Mandatory: Medical Graduation
- Preferred: Post-Graduation in Hospital Administration (MHA/MD) from a reputed institution.
- 15-20 years of progressive management experience in hospital/healthcare administration, with proven P&L accountability.
- Strong track record in business leadership, strategic growth, and stakeholder management.
