Cyient - Market Research Analyst - Semiconductor Business Unit - IIT/NIT/IIIT/BITS

We are hiring high-potential graduates from Tier-1 institutes to join our Semiconductor Business Unit as Market Research Analysts. This is an exciting opportunity to enter the semiconductor domain with a role that blends technology and business intelligence.

You will work closely with our Strategy, Business Development, and Marketing teams to conduct in-depth research, track semiconductor industry trends, and deliver insights that will help shape go-to-market and growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Track emerging technologies, global semiconductor trends, and demand forecasts across India, US, Europe, and APAC.

- Analyze data related to company positioning, pricing strategies, customer segments, and market SWOT.

- Support in preparing dashboards, market intelligence reports, and presentations for leadership.

- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to target account profiling.

- Assist in generating content for internal knowledge, whitepapers, and marketing campaigns.

- Collaborate with Sales and GTM teams to ensure research aligns with pipeline strategy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 1-3 years of experience with MBA from Tier-1 Engineering Colleges (IITs, NITs, IIITs, BITS Pilani, etc.).

- Under graduation background in Electronics, Electrical, ECE, EEE, or related disciplines.

- Curiosity about semiconductor design flows, market players, and global tech ecosystems.

- Strong command over data interpretation, secondary research, and technical communication.

- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint; quick learner of tools like Statista, Gartner, etc.

- Detail-oriented, analytical thinker with strong interpersonal skills.

- Exposure to market research techniques, business strategy, or product marketing (academic or internship-based).

- Familiarity with platforms like Power BI, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or Tableau.

- Passion for semiconductor industry trends, tech business models, or electronics IP ecosystems.
