Responsibilities and Duties - Build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial, trust-based relationships with key business clients, achieve additional/incremental revenue from these clients, & maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. - Achieve the assigned strategic account objectives, which could be specific to a particular account. - Strategic account planning & mapping of individual stakeholders, KDMs, BUs, Brands etc. - Engage with KDMs on a regular basis while keeping them updated on the key developments or achievements in the account. - Gather any new requirements that may present business opportunities and result in client success. Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet these requirements. - Act as the liaison between client and internal teams - Collaborate with sales teams to generate sales leads as well as upsell/cross-sell in these accounts. - Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and forecasts. - Provide inputs on resource planning from a pipeline perspective - Set Meeting Cadence (Monthly/QBR) - Establish strong, long-term client relationships Qualifications & Skills Required - A minimum of 5-6 years of overall experience in Sales, Business Development or Strategic Account Management. Overall experience should be 8+ years. - Should have worked extensively in the BFSI/Retail industry - Experience in Martech, CRM, and/or Digital Marketing space will be an added advantage. - Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs is a must - Proven work experience as a Strategic Account Manager or Key Account Manager handling large business accounts. - An ability to identify & address client requirements/pain points/challenges in a timely manner. - Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships - Strong persuasion as well as negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude - Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail - Industry knowledge: Good understanding of the business model of the BFSI or Retail industry
